MTV’s Wild ‘N Out is a great showcase for the on-the-spot lyricism and off-the-cuff humor that makes for some of the best–and worst–freestyle moments. Nick Cannon and the crew have always brought out the best in hip-hop for some of those brilliant moments, and it’s easy to see why rappers readily welcome the challenge.

This week, Waka Flocka Flame heads up the Platinum Squad and rocks with Nick Cannon & Co. on the always-popular Wild ‘N Out staple “Remix.” The battle leads to the ultimate showdown between Wacka and Nick Cannon; they go head to head in the “Wildstyle” final round. Waka clowning Nick’s shoes is a highlight–and he breaks a Wild ‘N Out Girl’s heart when he tells her he’s married. Catch MTV’s Throwdown Thursdays with Wild ‘N Out tonight, August 18, at 10/9c!

So in the spirit of hip-hop and hijinks, here are our favorite 10 rapper moments from MTV’s Wild ‘N Out.

Rick Ross

The Bawse is always a funny guy–and the Miami rap superstar showcased all of his skills on the show.
