A Handwritten Love Letter From Tupac Is Up for Sale news

A Tupac love letter is currently up for sale at the memorabilia site, Moments In Time. The handwritten note is dated November 22, 1988 and is addressed to a girl named “Beethoven” who says he called her that because she played piano. According to Beethoven, the two were in a high school drama class together. In the letter, Tupac pours his heart out, telling Beethoven, “As you will soon find out, I do not spare words, I say what I feel. So if something I say scares you please don’t panic because I tend to get over emotional. My heart usually leads me too fast and that’s probably why I always get hurt.” In Tupac’s version, he uses a picture of an eye to represent “I” hearts instead of writing the full words out.

In the second part of the letter, he says talking to her on the phone made him feel less alone because he took comfort in all the things they had in common like a love for Prince, candles, and both having their hearts broken. “I didn’t know the man who tattooed ‘Thug Life’ on his chest and who was gunned down on a Las Vegas street,” she tells HipHopDX. “I never really cared for the music he recorded—it was nothing like those freestyles in front of our school. I knew the kid who loved Prince, and candles and had a broken heart.” She says after he dropped out of school, she only saw him twice. Still, this love letter definitely shows a less known side of the iconic rapper who even signed the sweet note with his home digits. Now, all you need is $35,000 and it’s yours. This isn’t the only Tupac letter to surface lately. Back in March, someone found some very rare ‘Pac memorabilia when they answered a Craigslist ad for baseball cards.
