A Judge Has Cleared Meek Mill To Release New Music But With a Huge Caveat news

One of the big questions floating around after Meek Mill dropped his remix of the Drake song “Summer Sixteen” besides the basic “why?” revolved around the legal ramifications of the act. You see, Meek is currently under house arrest and is prohibiting by a court order from a judge from releasing new music. Well, as it turns out, Meek can release as much music as he wants, but with a significant caveat.

According to TMZ, the order put in place by the judge allows Meek to drop new tunes for the purposes of protecting his brand, and only on free services like SoundCloud or YouTube. That’s right, until his house arrest concludes, Meek isn’t allowed to make a dime off of any of his new music. If that seems harsh, has to be than staying silent for the next few months right? Or is it? What do you think of the judge’s stipulation?
