On the heels of two major Coachella Music Festival performances, Anderson .Paak delivers an artistic visual for two of his Malibu album tracks, “The Season/Carry Me” and “The Waters.”

The cover art of Malibu comes to life in the video starring BJ the Chicago Kid and a giant Donald Trump who is called the “Trash Monster” in this inventive clip. The California native’s unique sound and aesthetic has earned him a top spot on Dr. Dre’s Aftermath label. The video, directed by .Paak and Chris Le, is a surreal combination of two songs forming one visual narrative.

In the clip, the talented singer depicts himself as a strawberry farmer, a food server in Hells Kitchen and a therapist’s patient. He spits about his struggles with family, drugs and money with some touches of happiness, faith and good vibes.

In the cut-out/collage visual, .Paak makes social and political statements in the scenes that depict him wading in the waters of his baptism. In a surreal scene of paper cut out art he’s a trash collector who is walking along his path and gets and scared off by a huge fire breathing Donald Trump “trash monster” the arises from a pile of trash.
