As Beyoncé’s “Formation” single and video continue to pick up traction, the pop star is helping push the song and its message with exclusive “Formation” paraphernalia. To do so, the pop star has acquired models, as expected, to promote the clothing campaign, but this time she included one model with muscular dystrophy to aid in the campaign.
According to Jonathan Cheban’s The Dishh, Queen Bey cast model Jillian Mercado to help market the mogul’s latest merchandise. IMG Models, a premiere agency as well as Mercado’s casting representation, took to Facebook to announce the shoot and Mercado’s involvement with the campaign. And in her excitement, the FIT graduate and fashion blogger, who got her first look in a 2014 Diesel campaign, raved about the news on Twitter.

Not confident in knowing her career would ever truly take off, Mercado later found herself headlining Nordstrom’s anniversary catalog in the summer of 2014. Now, she’s focused on continuing to change the face of fashion with her most recent endorsement from Bey herself. When it comes to fashion, the only thing Jillian has to say is, “Go big or go home.”
