Apple Music is putting some respek on Birdman’s name. The music streaming giant has signed Cash Money to their roster of influential artists and labels to create original music content.

On Sunday (April 14), Birdman made it official with a post on his Instagram page. In the photo, you see the rap mogul posing with Larry Jackson who is Apple’s president of music content.

“Its official @thelarryjackson thank you @applemusic Cash Money makes a power move wit @applemusic,” reads the caption along with the hashtags #BIGBUSINESS #CASHMONEYRICHGANG #lifestyle #MSGLADYS #RESPEK.

This power move comes a week after Travis Scott signed his Apple Music deal to host his own Beats 1 radio show. Birdman joins a list of artist delivering content on Apple Music. Drake’s OVO Sound, DJ Khaled’s We the Best and Pharrell Williams all have streaming programs and content on the tech giant’s platform.

There’s no official word on what Birdman will bring to Apple Music, but he has plenty of artists and resources to come up with something unique.

We are still waiting for Birdman to drop his new album. As we previously reported, the 47-year-old executive was set to drop From Tha Briks on July 22. But that date came and went with no release in sight.

Now with this Apple Music deal we can probably look forward to new material from the next generation of artists on Cash Money Records.
