In Manchester, Tennessee, 22-year-old Casey Young died early Saturday, WSMV-TV reports. Young was struck by two vehicles on Interstate 24 near the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival taking place this weekend. He was found wearing a Bonnaroo wristband and a Bonnaroo t-shirt.
The collision happened just after 1 a.m. near the McMinnville Highway exit, the Tennessee Highway Patrol told WSMV-TV. Young was reportedly in the median and tried to run across the east bound lanes when he ran into the side of a moving semi-truck. He bounced off the trailer and then was struck by a Jeep Cherokee, authorities said.
The drivers of the vehicles are cooperating with the investigation, Sgt. Alan Bailey told WSMV-TV. According to preliminary reports, Young had drugs and alcohol in his system.
This is a developing story.
