Chris Brown was scheduled to do shows in Tokyo, Japan next week, but TMZ reports that sources close to Breezy’s camp say that it’s a no-go because he’s currently being investigated by the LAPD for that troublesome gun case stemming from August.

Japanese officials reportedly flagged Brown after he applied for a working visa so that he could enter the country to perform. A Japanese consulate official told TMZ the country has a very low tolerance for admitting visitors with criminal backgrounds and open cases.

Brown, for his part, has adamantly denied any wrongdoing, after a woman, Baylee Curan, a dethroned beauty queen who was wanted for questioning in New York about a criminal theft case, accused Brown of pulling a gun on her because she got to close to his jewelry. Panic ensued, cops were called and the SWAT team surrounded Brown’s home after the singer demanded that they produce a warrant before entering his house. The singer was eventually arrested and charged with suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Sources reportedly have said that Brown will reapply for the visa to enter the country. In the meantime, Breezy’s been keeping busy releasing new music (“Keep You In Mind” featuring Bryson Tiller) and selling out of a line t-shirts he made specifically about his gun case called, “This B!tch Lyin.”
