Kidulthood turned ten in March, and the Brotherhood, concluding film in the trilogy drops later this year. So what better time to get the original back on the big screen? As part of Everyman Cinemas Music-Film Festival, there is going to be a special anniversary screening of the film, with stars Adam Deacon and Femi Oyeniran joining us for a Q and A afterwards.
It’ll take place on Wednesday 18 May at 6.30pm, at the Everyman Muswell Hill in London. You can book tickets right now.
But that’s not all. Also part of the festival is a preview of Golden Boys, the new documentary from Simon Wheatley, known for his iconic book of photography Don’t Call Me Urban. Golden Stars focuses on ‘Pengaleng’ crew The Square, and the screening will be followed by a live performance. That one is happening on Friday 13 May, and tickets are here.
