Dan Auerbach, Maren Morris Join Marty Stuart's Late Night Jam news

Now a fixture during Nashville’s CMA Music Festival, Marty Stuart’s annual Late Night Jam retains some of the down home ethos that was an essential part of the week’s experience when it was known as Fan Fair. The 2016 installment, scheduled for June 8th at the Ryman Auditorium, will feature the talents of the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, Maren Morris and Brothers Osborne, among others.

As usual, the affable Stuart will perform with his band the Fabulous Superlatives, as will his wife Connie Smith and her band the Sundowners. Additional guests include Chuck Mead and the Grassy Knoll Boys, JD McPherson, Steve Riley and Doug Kershaw, The Isaacs, and William and Ree. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

In 2015, Eric Church brought some superstar power to the event and was even supported by a pre-CMA Awards explosion Chris Stapleton and half of Little Big Town, singing “Girl Crush” as well as The Band’s “The Weight.”

“Over the years I’ve always made sure that new artists were given a spot on the show. One of the people I heard early on in his career was Eric Church. I liked him and his music. As I remember the audience did too. I get to have an ‘I told you so’ moment at this year’s show,” Stuart told Rolling Stone Country.

Previous years of the Late Night Jam have included the talents of young viral sensation Emi Sunshine, LeAnn Rimes, Travis Tritt and others. The event doubles as a benefit for the Recording Academy’s MusiCares, which supports musicians in times of crisis.
