Although Kesha has seemed to turn a corner in her halted music career by performing at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards and announcing a string of new tour dates in July, her ongoing court battle with her former producer Dr. Luke isn’t over yet.

This time, however, Luke is going after the singer’s mother Pebe Sebert for defamation.

According to The Wrap, the 42-year-old music exec — who’s also the owner of Kesha’s label Kemosabe Records — filed the suit in Tennessee last week and is looking for $75,000 in damages.

Evidently, Luke believes that Sebert and her daughter smeared his name and not only falsely accused him of rape but did so in an attempt to get the singer out of her record contract.

Moreover, the veteran producer pointed to a March 2016 interview with Billboard magazine, where Kesha’s mom doubled down on her abuse claims.

“It was like someone who beats you every day and hangs you from a chain and then comes in and gives you a piece of bread,” said Sebert about Luke in the interview. [He would say] ‘You look nice today’ and send her into hysterics of happiness because she was programmed to expect nothing but abuse.”

Also in the suit, it says that Kesha’s mother used the Billboard interview “As another opportunity to continue her public smear campaign and once again defame Gottwald,” which is Dr. Luke’s real last name.

Additionally, the suit cites a 2015 tweet from Sebert, where she once again brought up the rape claim. “Kesha can’t legally put out music unless she makes it under complete control of a man who raped her at 18,” the tweet read.

As many probably know, the “TiK ToK” creator sued Dr. Luke in October 2014 and accused him of abusing her for 10 years and drugging and raping her during that time.

Back in March, a New York Supreme Court judge told Kesha that she couldn’t be released from Kemosabe Records, because she still has the chance to work with other producers besides Luke, a claim she adamantly denied.
