Drake is making his return to Saturday Night Live as both a host and musical guest on May 14. The appearance will come on the heels of Drizzy’s new album, VIEWS, which is on track to bring in the biggest first week sales of his career. SNL is nothing new for Drake, as he hosted and performed on the show back in 2014, with the appearance bringing in plenty of reactions whether people thought he was funny or not.
Interestingly enough, in his recent interview with Zane Lowe, Drake mentioned that he had something on the way in regards to his acting career, but kept the SNL appearance a mystery until now. The SNL appearance kicks off a busy stretch of events for Drake, who will be heading out on the road with Future for the official “Summer Sixteen” tour, which you can check out the full list of dates for here. As of right now, it’s unclear exactly what kind of skits Drake will be involved in for the show, but based on his acting chops, he’s sure to bring his best effort. If the new tour and album wasn’t enough, Drake recently teased that he’ll be putting out even more new music before the tour actually starts.
That's right! @Drake will host SNL on May 14. Cancel your Saturday night plans…
