OVO’s dvsn is turning up next week with a special live event in honor of their debut Sept 5th project.
The R&B duo, made up of Grammy nominated producer Nineteen85 and singer Daniel Day, have steadily been making a name for themselves as the most recent signee on the OVO Sound label known with deep cuts like ‘Too Deep” and “Hallucinations” off their debut album.
Since the release of Sept 5th this past March, dvsn have hit the road with OVO label head Drake and Future on the very huge Summer Sixteen Tour. The sold out tour will continue across the country until it caps things off in Newark, N.J. in mid-October.
The tour is not the first time dvsn and Drake have collaborated. Drake made sure to recruit their talent’s for his Views cut, “Faithful.” Interestingly enough, the Summer Sixteen Tour has nothing scheduled for the night of September 5. There is no confirmation on just who exactly the special guests will be at dvsn’s event, but our money is on an OVO artist, or perhaps the OVO artist showing up to stun the crowd.
There has been no shortage of insane surprises on the Summer Sixteen Tour either with talents like Eminem showing up in Detroit and Gucci Mane, Usher, and Young Thug all showing up for one night in Atlanta, so it would definitely be in OVO’s character for something big to go down.
You can grab tickets to the show, which is going down at Warehouse Live, right here before they run out.
