The always fashionable rhymer Fabolous has teamed up with sock maker Odd Sox to launch his own three-piece capsule collection.
The exclusive collection features three pairs of socks that represent his beloved city of New York. The first is a solid black pair with the words “The Family” stitched in around the upper seam. The second pair pays “homage” to Fab’s hometown with a black, white and grey color scheme that illustrate the “Brooklyn Bridge.” The final pair of socks, titled “My House,” highlight a blue and orange colorway and are dedicated “to housing project signs found throughout New York City area.”
Excited about the celebrity collection, Odd Sox says choosing the Brooklyn rapper was a no brainer. “Not only is he witty with the word-play, but Fab’s ability to stay ahead of the curve with his songs and style is what makes him The Young OG,” says the Florida-based company. “Always pushing the limits and breaking down barriers, his Stand Out lifestyle makes him a natural choice to represent music for Odd Sox.”
Alongside Odd Sox’s partnership with Fabolous, the footwear brand is releasing its “refreshed” “Music Legends” sock series as they know that “music is the driving force behind culture.” The series initially featured the late Pimp C, but will now go on to include artists like Slick Rick and AC/DC.
