Back in 2014, Faith Evans revealed that she was working on a duets album with unreleased material from her late husband, Notorious B.I.G., though nothing has come out as of yet. Well, in a new interview with Dame Dash, Faith gave a pretty extensive update on the album, and revealed that it's currently scheduled to come out later this year, and possibly in September. “If he was alive, I know ultimately we would have done something like this. But the way this stuff is coming together and the way I’m using his vocals, it’s giving this stuff new life,” Faith said. “I think people are really going to enjoy it.”
While she didn't dive too deep into details on the album, she did tease that the project's first single will be out sometime this summer. Interestingly enough, Faith has been posting plenty of pictures of herself in the studio recently, and captioned the moments with #TKAI, which is short for the album's title, The King and I. You can listen to Faith talk about the album starting at the 23-minute mark in the interview above. You can see some of the photos from the studio session below.
