Here's Everything You Need to Know About the Weather Conditions for Summer Jam news

On the East Coast, there’s a severe thunderstorm warning for several cities including Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and New York City.

The weather has put a damper on Governors Ball 2016, where the festival has canceled its third day due to “severe weather and a high likelihood of lighting in the area.” Concert-goers will be able to receive a refund for the tickets they have purchased.

Several artists have already made plans to perform elsewhere in the city. Along with Prophets of Rage and Courtney Barnett, Vic Mensa will be throwing a raincheck show at Webster Hall with the first 150 people get in for free.

For Hot 97’s Summer Jam, they have announced the festival stage—which had Chance the Rapper, Tory Lanez, Curren$y, Desiigner, Post Malone, Dave East, Justine Sky, Dougie F, and Rotimi—has been canceled. The stadium stage with performances by G.O.O.D. Music (Big Sean & Pusha T), DJ Khaled & Friends, A$AP Rocky & ASAP Ferg, Bryson Tiller, Young Thug, Tinashe, Kid Ink and more are still scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. ET. Contrary to reports, Summer Jam as a whole isn’t canceling. Here’s the latest updates from Hot 97:

While Kanye West won’t be performing his headlining slot at Governors Ball, Ebro hinted that ‘Ye would be coming out during Big Sean, Pusha T and G.O.O.D. Music’s set.

The gates at Met Life Stadium are supposed to open at 8 p.m. ET and will likely go pass the 11 p.m. ET curfew. As of now, there are already a few people gathered in the parking lot for tailgating. We will keep you updated on the weather conditions as it gets closer to the Summer Jam start time.

Just some parking lot Pimpin 😎 @HOT97 #summerjam
