Fans have been waiting for news about Ariana Grande's upcoming album, and today they got a big update: the project will be titled Dangerous Woman. Grande revealed the news on her Snapchat story, and promptly changed her Twitter bio to reflect the big announcement.
Before her announcement today, many fans believed the album to be called Moonlight. Grande mentioned it as a possible title on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last month, saying “A really long time ago I was convinced it was going to be called Moonlight because it's one of my favorite songs that we did for the album. Now that we're wrapping things up… there's this other song that has sort of thrown me for a whirlwind and I love it so much and it's just sort of changed.” If this is true, the album will likely feature a song called “Dangerous Woman” to match the new title. According to the picture from her Snapchat, “Moonlight” will be the first song on the album.
Dangerous Woman will be Grande's third album, following 2013's Yours Truly and 2014's My Everything. She's ruled the charts with songs like “Problem,” “Break Free,” and “Bang Bang,” and had a featured role in Fox's horror-comedy show Scream Queens in 2015. Keep your eyes out for more information about the album's release date or upcoming singles.
