Beloved Canadian alt-rock band the Tragically Hip will be live streaming their final show Saturday night in their hometown. The band's lead singer Gord Downie was diagnosed with incurable, terminal brain cancer earlier this year.

To wrap up a 30-year career with Downie, the band released their 14th studio album, Man Machine Poem, in June. A tour around Canada launched in late July. Tomorrow's final show will take place at Rogers K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Ontario, where the group originated. CBC Music will be broadcasting the full concert from their YouTube channel starting at 8:30 p.m. EDT:

Though the tragic news was announced to the public in May, Downie learned of his condition last December. The public statement on the singer's illness was accompanied with news of the tour. "We've decided to do another one. This feels like the right thing to do for now, for Gord, and for all of us," the band said in a collective statement on their website. During a press conference, Downie's doctor said he had been cleared for the tour, though the singer's condition would be monitored closely to make sure no other health issues or severe exhaustion affect him during his live trek.

Among those on hand for Saturday's highly anticipated final gig will be Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, an avowed fan of Downie and the Tragically Hip.
