It seems like forever ago that Kanye West was debuted his Yeezy Season 3 collection to much fanfare at an event at Madison Square Garden in NYC, not to mention previewing his new album The Life of Pablo. Since then, we've already gotten another collection from him—Yeezy Season 4—and yet Season 3 has been nowhere to be found in stores.
Now, it looks like we're finally going to be able to get our hands on it. Pete Fox—president of Kanye's Yeezy brand—got a question thrown at him on Instagram about where exactly the collection was, and to everyone's surprise, he gave a straight answer. "#season3 available this month," he replied. Although there aren't any solid release dates, it's the first news we've heard about Yeezy Season 3 in quite some time.
One thing fans are sure to be excited about are the lower prices. Way back in January, Kanye said he was working on lowering the prices, which many balked at upon the release of Yeezy Season 1. A leaked price list revealed that this would indeed be the case, with hoodie prices dropping almost 50 percent from $600 to $325. As GQ points out, a shearling will go for $1,500, which is still pretty expensive but far less than the $5,000 or more that some brands charge.
Information about when and where Yeezy Season 3 will be available is still very light, so we'll have to wait for more information before you can start planning how you're going to get your hands on it, but it's great to see things moving forward.
