It’s been a while since Justin Timberlake has hit the Billboard Hot 100, but the singer returns to the top of the chart this week with his new single, “Can’t Stop the Feeling.” The song marks Timberlake’s first No. 1 hit in nine years and is also his first No. 1 debut.
“Can’t Stop the Feeling” is the first taste of new music from Timberlake since he released part two of The 20/20 Experience back in 2013. The song is part of the soundtrack to the upcoming DreamWorks film,Trolls, which he is executive producing. Timberlake will also be contributing to the soundtrack to the upcoming film, which is due out on Nov. 4. He recently performed the song for the first time at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Meanwhile, Rihanna’s “Needed Me” jumps from No. 13 to No. 10, giving her her 29th career top 10. She now ties Michael Jackson for having the third most top-10 songs of all-time.
