Big Sean and Jhene Aiko’s collaborative project TWENTY88 is available for streaming right now. The hip-hop and R&B duo described the album as “highly sexual” featuring songs dealing with relationships.

The eight-song collection includes a cameo from veteran R&B duo K-Ci & JoJo on the sensuous ballad, “2 Minute Warning.” The Jodeci members told Billboard that it was one of the freakiest songs they have ever heard, but it took them back to the ’90s when they were performing songs like “Freek’n You” and “Feenin’.”

“Once we got in the studio [with Sean], I was like, ‘What is this song really talking about?’ He started saying some of the raps and I was like, ‘Okay, this is one of them freaky songs right here!’” recalls JoJo. “Everything happened so fast. We didn’t know what we were stepping into. After he broke it down that what [he and Jhene] were talking about was a sexual type [of song], I was like, ‘Hey I’m down!’”

“You gotta look at K-Ci and JoJo’s history,” adds K-Ci. “We are Jodeci, we’re the ones who came out with “Freek’N You” and “Feenin’” so that [song was] right up our alley.”

K-Ci and JoJo said they weren’t aware that Sean and Aiko were working on a concept album. However, they did hear a couple of mixes and felt their chemistry was on-point.

“Our manager played us a little bit of the mix and she has a wonderful voice,” said JoJo. “Good combination. When they got the song, it was just the track — nobody was on there. They gave ’em a reference. That was a God-sent track,” added K-Ci.

Although it’s a very erotic song, K-Ci and JoJo aren’t concerned that it might be too sexual for their fans.

“Everybody loves to have sex, so what’s the problem?” said JoJo, with K-Ci concurring, “That’s how we got here. Every freakin’ day and every freakin’ night.”

Check out TWENTY88’s freakin’ self-titled album right now on iTunes.
