Kanye West Made a Surprise Appearance During Big Seans Powerhouse 2016 Performance news

Last night, some of the greatest rap talent on the planet assembled at the Honda Center in Los Angeles to take part in the annual Powerhouse concert. By the end of the evening, however, it was the man who wasn’t even on the bill that ultimately stole the show. Near the end of Big Sean’s set, the Detroit-native started to perform the song “Mercy” when out of nowhere, his boss and CEO of G.O.O.D. Music, Kanye West, emerged from the shadows to help him out with the track.

The crowd went absolutely nuts at the mere sight of Yeezy, and that in and of itself might have been enough, but the man was only just getting started. After “Mercy,” the pair went immediately into another Cruel Summer selection, a remix of the Chief Keef cut “I Don’t Like,” before hitting the audience with the first live presentation of the song “Champions” from the upcoming Cruel Winter album that West had only just premiered earlier that day on Big Boy in the Morning.

With his foot firmly on the gas by this point—and with the crowd collectively losing its ever-loving mind—West then busted out a pair of The Life of Pablo hits, “Famous” and “Father Stretch My Hands,” before ending the night with “Clique.”

If this hyped performance proved anything, it’s that anyone with a ticket to see Ye at Governor’s Ball on Sunday night is in for a show unlike any other, and that his proposed, upcoming tour can’t come soon enough.

You can check out Kanye’s entire performance alongside Big Sean in the videos above.
