Earlier today, pop singer Kesha revealed that she's been offered a deal by the powers that be to grant her the freedom that she's been seeking. According to the singer, the only catch is that she would have to publicly retract her rape claim against producer/manager Dr. Luke, and for Kesha, that is just one bridge that she refuses to cross.
“I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie,” she wrote. I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got raped. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors.”
so. I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie. I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got raped. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors. I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again.

In February, a judge denied Kesha's request for an injunction against Dr. Luke and Sony to be released from her current recording contract. The judge in the case cited the $60 million that the company had invested in the singer, along with Dr. Luke's agreement to allow her to record with other producers at the two main facts that “decimate” her case.
In 2014, Kesha filed a lawsuit against her manager for sexual assault and battery. Since then, she's received an outpouring of support from her many fans, as well as a number of the music industry's biggest and most recognized faces like Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift.
