Right now Kevin Hart is the highest paid comedian, knocking out Jerry Seinfeld, who’s held the No.1 spot since Forbes created the list.

According to the financial mag, the Philly funnyman raked in a whopping $87.5 million between June 2015 and June 2016. Seinfeld, meanwhile, netted $43.5 million, which is certainly nothing to sneeze at, but it wasn’t enough to put him over the top.

In addition, Hart’s earnings won him the No. 6 spot on the Celebrity 100, and he landed in between professional soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo ($88 million) and famed New York shock-jock Howard Stern ($85 million).

At this point, it may be hard to remember, but the 37-year-old actor was no overnight success, playing small roles in films like In The Mix in 2005 and Along Came Polly, starring Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston, one year prior.

Then several years later, Hart had two back-to-back hits with the films Think Like A Man and About Last Night, and from there his ascension only continued.

Plus, he performs a tireless number of stand-up gigs, about 100 in a 12-month period, and he gets paid $1 million for each.

“He is a comedian, of course, but he is drawing crowds that you would typically only see for [a] musician,” said Pollstar’s editor Gary Bongiovanni. “Only a few comedians [are] capable of playing sports arenas the way that Kevin Hart does.”

The other people to make it on Forbes’ highest paid list include Amy Schumer, who netted $17 million between June 2015 and June 2016. Plus, Dave Chappelle, who raked in $13 million and Russell Peters who earned $9 million.
