Lauryn Hill is returning to stage in Augsust with her headlining “MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling!” Tour.
As noted by Okayplayer, Ms. Hill will kick off her 17-city trek on Aug. 27 in Philadelphia and will hit several major cities including Detroit, Minneapolis, Cleveland, Atlanta, Boston, San Diego, Calif., Seattle, and Las Vegas before ending her run in Phoenix, Ariz., on Nov. 13.
Tickets are available now at Ticketmaster.com.
The former Fugees member’s tour comes at a good time as she battles more tax-related issues. The IRS claims she owes more than $430,000 in back taxes. However, reps for Ms. Hill say the bill is being taken care of and we should mind our own business.
Meanwhile, Lauryn Hill recently filmed an episode of the Austin City Limits television show, which will air on PBS this weekend. The good folks at ACL posted a clip of Hill and her band performing her classic song, “Doo Wop (That Thing)” for the show.
