Kanye West isn’t the only artist who has a problem with the streaming wars between Apple Music and TIDAL. Hitmaker Metro Boomin doesn’t trust it either and went on his Twitter account to voice his displeasure about it.

Apparently, the 22-year-old producer was looking for Jay Z’s classic tune “Song Cry” on iTunes but couldn’t find it. Then when he tried to look for Hov’s The Blueprint album he didn’t see it listed. That’s when he realized that Jay’s catalog is on TIDAL, which means he would have to subscribe to that service just to get Jay Z’s music.

“Just searched iTunes for 10 minutes for song cry by jay z and couldn’t find it, then searched 4 blueprint and remembered tidal vs apple,” Metro tweeted to his followers. “This streaming war s— is so sus with all the exclusivity bulls—. Just let the kids have the music because that’s what it should be about.”

“Shouldn’t have to have subscriptions to 2 different services just to listen to blueprint and views. Makes me miss how simple CDs were,” he added.

Metro’s frustration is the same for many music fans who are not happy with being force to choose a streaming service to listen or buy their favorite artists’ music. Spending over $30 a month just to get full access of albums on either Apple Music, Tidal, Spotify and Pandora is out to reach for some folks who may just only want to buy a song or two.

Kanye West feels the same way as Metro and urged executives at these streaming services to stop the “d— swinging” and let the kids have access to the music.

“This Tidal Apple beef is f—ing up the music game,” he tweeted back in July. “F— all this d—- swinging contest. We all gon be dead in 100 Years. Let the kids have the music.”
