It looks like Lifetime has found their actress to play ’90s singer Michel’le.

According to Deadline, Lincoln Heights star Rhyon Nicole Brown has been tapped to play the “Something In My Heart” singer in the television biopic.

The 23-year old actress has also starred in For Better Or WorseThat’s So Raven, Everybody Loves Raymond and 50 Cent’s 2005 film, Get Rich Or Die Tryin’.

The Lifetime movie, tentatively titled The Michel’le Story, will detail the singer’s life, how she was discovered by N.W.A’s Eazy-E and became a platinum-selling artist on Ruthless Records. As Dr. Dre’s girlfriend for several years and later Suge Knight’s wife, she was apart of N.W.A’s crazy ride for over a decade. Unfortunately, experiencing physical abuse from former boyfriend Dr. Dre and divorcing Suge after eight years of marriage.

After years of silence, Michel’le has decided she’s ready to reveal her side of the story. Especially since her time affiliated with N.W.A was left out of the 2015 film Straight Outta Compton.

Many criticized the N.W.A biopic for excluding Dr. Dre’s numerous physical assaults against women including Michel’le and former TV host Dee Barnes — although it didn’t bother Michel’le.

“I’m not upset that they didn’t put me in the movie…it’s their movie, right? Their money,” she said of the biopic soon after its release.

Other actors confirmed for the Lifetime biopic include, R. Marcos Taylor, who will reprise his role of music executive Suge Knight as he portrayed him in Straight Outta Compton and Curtis Hamilton will play Dr. Dre.

A premiere date for the movie has not been announced as of yet.
