Nick Cannon has become quite the businessman over the years. The rapper/actor has hosted America’s Got Talent and Wild N’ Out, while also serving as chairman of TeenNick, Chief Creative Officer for Radioshack, and the CEO of his own entertainment company, NCredible Entertainment. Cannon is now taking on another partnership as Global Brand Ambassador with upstart technology company bBooth, which he announced this weekend at a private reception in West Hollywood, California.

“Nick is an artist, he knows the entertainment industry inside and out and he is well respected in all facets of the entertainment business,” bBooth CEO Rory Cutaia said. “When you’re an artist and an entrepreneur, well then in my view, you’re the renaissance man that we want apart of our company as we roll this technology out around the world.”

Reality star Erica Mena, VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’s Jason Lee, singer/songwriter Marques Anthony, model/actress Porscha Coleman, singer James Elizabeth and others were on-hand for the launch.

“Nick is so amazing, and so talented,” Coleman told TheBoomBox. “He really gives back and inspires so many kids to do so much more than what they probably thought they could’ve done. I had to come out and support him.”

Mena praised Cannon’s character and work ethic. “[Nick’s] so generous,” she said. “He’s one of those people that once you know him you want to root for him, you want to do things like this for him, hold him down.”

And Cannon was grateful for those in his corner.

“Its a beautiful situation when your peers come out and support your new endeavors,” the comedian explained. “I honestly am humbled by the turn out and the fact that everybody is here to witness how we’re about to take it to the next level.”

Cannon also premiered his new single “If I Was Your Man” featuring Jeremih, at the event.

When asked what inspired the song, Cannon said, “Me! My life. If you pay attention to the it, I’m speaking some real truth’s on there. My man Jeremih blessed us with it and it came out real strong.

Cannon has also had to contend with dating rumors swirling around he and Chilli of TLC.  When confronted with the romance gossip, Cannon was a little coy in clarifying whether or not he was with the R&B star.

“That’s an amazing woman, but you got to ask her,” he deflected. “I’m not good at dating, as the world knows.”

“I don’t think she would accept me,” he added. “I’m little bit of damaged goods right now.”

Nick Cannon is a man with his hands full right now.
