When it comes to technology, Nike is hellbent on perfecting the wheel and it seems that they’ve found a way to make the Huarache even better. The snug sandal-based runner has been given a few modifications to make it an even more fully realized runner.
The Nike Huarache Ultra takes the shoe’s DNA and streamlines it even more for an overall sleeker look. Most noticeably, the meshed-out toe box that features a fused tip that gives way to a perforated neoprene mid panel and ankle. The outsole has been retooled as well and smoothed out to remove the pock marks that are usually found dotting the heel.
The Nike Huarache Ultra is available now at select sneaker retailers including Finish Line who has a slew of colorways priced at $120 a pop.
