Paris Jackson Goes Off on Critics: 'Ask Yourself If It Is Any of Your Business' news

Paris Jackson, daughter of late pop icon Michael Jackson, received a wave of criticism on social media after she didn’t post a tribute to her deceased dad on Father’s Day this past Sunday. The 18-year old finally had enough of the backlash and let online harassers know that they were overstepping their bounds.

“If you try to harass someone into posting online about a holiday (Father’s Day), ask yourself if it is any of your business,” Paris tweeted.

She followed that with a later post: “Having eight tattoos dedicated to someone overrules a single post about them on a stupid social media account because of a holiday.”

Paris, who was 11 when Michael died in June 2009, has paid tribute to her dad in numerous ways since his death and has also had trouble dealing with the scrutiny of social media and being the King of Pop’s daughter. In June 2013, Paris was reportedly under watch after emergency responders were called to her home following a possible suicide attempt.

Michael Jackson has been back in the news as of late. Radar Online claimed to have documents from the 2003 raid on the star’s Neverland Ranch that reveal that Jackson owned disturbing pornographic images and the site claims that he used said materials to seduce young boys; but the article was not officially corroborated by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department.

It was also announced that J.J. Abrams and Tavis Smiley will be producing a documentary about the last days of the megastar’s life.
