London-based producer Bedlam has undertaken a new project that invites a rotating cast of songwriters and singers to collaborate with one another. The outfit's latest effort is “Let It Be”, the second track to be taken from his upcoming self-titled six-track EP. With an urgent kick drum trying to punch its way through the mix, “Let It Be” sees awkward stop-start rhythms being used to hook the listener in for the big climax. On the subject of the off-kilter style, Bedlam explained: “We wanted to explore the vulnerability of uncertainty and the idea that there is only so much that you can control. The production style mirrors this—it's tight, urgent, and anxious.” Listen exclusively below.
