Premiere: Frisco Calls On Boy Better Know For His "Them Man There" Video

Frisco – Them Man There (Official Music Video)

Fully grown man Frisco has come a long way since the days of Back 2 Da Lab. First entering the music scene in 2005 as a feature on “Private Caller“, Skepta‘s now-legendary posse cut, Big Fris has gone on to make an almost fearful name for himself as one of the toughest rhyme-throwers out there (he’s only ever clashed Wiley, which shows the type of calibre that we’re dealing with here). After months of touring with his Boy Better Know crew, and collaborating with everyone from Jamie xx to Chase & Status to Shakka, Frisco, known for his ear-biting cadence and stern-faced delivery, released an LP called System Killer just last month and today we’re premiering a new video from it.

“Them Man There” is the jazz-tinged, Swindle-produced number in question, in which Fris comes for the badmind folk that have nothing better to do than to hate and talk behind the backs of others. “We all know ‘them man there,'” says Frisco over email, “they come in all shapes and sizes. This track is taken from my new album, System Killer, which is an iconic release for me as it captures the past 18 months of my life which has been such a crazy and eventful journey.” Directed by Chas Appeti, peep the black-and-white visual exclusively above; it features all the members of BBK.
