Prince Met With a Doctor Before He Died According to Search Warrant news

Prince was treated by a family practitioner twice before his death.

According to an unsealed warrant (via Minneapolis Star Tribune), Dr. Michael Todd Schulenberg saw the late icon on April 7 and April 20 before the late guitarist’s untimely passing. Schulenberg also said that he arrived at Paisley Park to deliver the test results on the fated day (April 21) when Prince was found dead in the elevator.

Although the warrant doesn’t list what the results were, it does state that Prince was given a prescription that was to be filled at a Walgreens — one of the places that Prince was last seen before his death.

The Star Tribune, who obtained the warrant, also learned from a source that Prince was being treated for withdrawal symptoms from an opioid addiction before his death although Schulenberg claims that he did not prescribe opioids to the 57-year-old musician.

This latest news comes after rumors of Prince overdosing on Percocet before the emergency landing prior to his death. A source also claimed that the addictive pain reliever was in his system when he died.

On top of that, Sinead O’Conner blames Arsenio Hall for providing Prince with drugs but the former late-night talk show host has denied all claims. The 60-year-old comedian even filed a $5 million lawsuit against the pop singer, which she found amusing.

We can only hope that the news begins to open up a discussion about the dangers of prescription drugs and addiction.
