In addition, there will be musical tributes to David Bowie (featuring Lady Gaga), B.B. King and Lionel Richie, who is being honored as the 2016 MusiCares Person of the Year. Also, legendary rap group Run-DMC will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award for their venerable legacy in hip-hop.
There’s no word on what song(s) Rihanna will perform at the Grammys telecast. Hopefully, it’s something from her just-released album, ANTI. The last time the 27-year-old singer performed at the Grammy Awards was in 2015 where she performed “FourFiveSeconds” with Kanye West and Paul McCartney.
The 2016 Grammy Awards, with host LL Cool J, will air live from Los Angeles on Feb. 15 at 8PM ET on CBS.
