See Cam's Swooning 'Can't Help Falling in Love' on the Opry news
Cam sang Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love" on the Grand Ole Opry in January.

Released in 1961, “Can’t Help Falling in Love” is one of Elvis’ most popular and enduring romantic ballads. The British reggae group UB40 scored a massive smash in the mid-Nineties with their version of it (from the movie Sliver!) and other artists to put their spin on it include Bob Dylan, Shirley Bassey and Ingrid Michaelson.

“Burning House” singer Cam recently joined their ranks when she played the Grand Ole Opry during its winter shows at the Ryman Auditorium. Dedicating the song to her fiancé Adam Weaver, Cam displayed a Patsy Cline-like purity and power in her delivery that demonstrates her skill at interpreting a song’s emotional nuances. It’s also no coincidence that the performance took place on January 8th, which would have been Elvis Presley’s 81st birthday.

Cam has followed the breakout success of “Burning House” with the release of her new single “Mayday,” which appears on her debut album Untamed. At present she is opening shows on Brad Paisley’s Crushin’ It World Tour.
