Demi Lovato performed one of her "favorite songs," Adele's "When We Were Young," live for the first time Friday night as the singer and Nick Jonas' Future Now tour visited Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena.
Lovato delivered a faithful, slightly sped-up take on the 25 single, which Lovato used as another vessel to showcase her powerful vocals. Lovato's soaring "When We Were Young" cover comes nearly 10 months after she doled out a skyscraping rendition of Adele's "Hello" at Seattle's KIIS FM Fall Ball in November 2015.
Lovato and Jonas' Future Now tour has witnessed an array of surprise performances, including guest appearances by Jamie Foxx, T.I., Brad Paisley and Andra Day plus covers of Prince's "Purple Rain" and Desiigner's "Panda."
The North American leg of the Future Now tour wraps September 17th at Los Angeles' the Forum. Lovato and Jonas then embark for a brief tour of Mexico in October.
