Kenny Chesney brought his Spread the Love Tour to Auburn, Alabama, this Saturday, performing the first-ever concert at Auburn University’s Jordan-Hare Stadium. A day before the show, however, the “Noise” singer surprised members of a fraternity with an impromptu set at the Lamda Chi Alpha house, singing fan favorites like “Keg in the Closet” and his superb “American Kids.” (Watch the video above).

Chesney’s performance at Auburn marked the start of his summer tour, a typically enormous trek that includes support from Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion — all three joined the host onstage during his headlining set. Lambert sang “You and Tequila,” Sam Hunt chimed in on “Come Over” (which he co-wrote) and Old Dominion appeared for “Save It for a Rainy Day.”

The Spread the Love Tour resumes May 5th with an amphitheater show in Albuquerque, before returning to stadiums with a May 7th stop at Chase Field in Phoenix. Chesney’s latest single, “Noise,” is a response to today’s eternally plugged-in culture, written by the singer with Shane McAnally, Ross Copperman and Jon Nite.
