See Ozzy and Jack Osbourne quibble over the Black Sabbath singer’s return to the Alamo in ‘Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour’ clip.
This weekend's episode of Ozzy & Jack's World Detour, the History Channel show where the Black Sabbath singer and his son visit important historical sites around the world, will find the singer returning to the Alamo. It's a place of infamy for him since rumors have long swirled that he urinated on the monument in 1982 and was arrested, and, as a clip from the episode shows, he was incredibly (and humorously) nervous about going back.
"What do you think is the worst that can happen?" Jack asks.
"Getting shot, killed, beaten up," his father replies. "It's me." The singer feigns dying. "Tell your mom I love her."
"You literally pissed your way into American history books," Jack says.
They then do some research about whether or not Ozzy actually urinated on the Alamo, including a stop at Rolling Stone's "30 Most Embarrassing Rock-Star Arrests" list, which reported that the urination was on a sidewalk near the landmark.
When the pair finally arrived at the Alamo, fans had arrived in throngs to greet the singer warmly, but it nevertheless made him anxious. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Ozzy said, "I warned the producers. I said, 'You go to the Alamo, everything's going to happen.' And it's a fucking riot when we get there."
"I'm like, 'No. People like you," Jack said.
The episode will air on Sunday at 10 p.m. EST.
