See Radiohead Play 'Creep' Live For First Time in Seven Years news

Radiohead performed the third concert of their 2016 tour Monday at Paris’ Le Zenith, and while the band continued to showcase their new LP A Moon Shaped Pool onstage, Thom Yorke and company also dove into their catalog to deliver a pair of surprises: Radiohead’s first performance of “Creep” and “No Surprises” in nearly seven years.

Radiohead hadn’t played their Pablo Honey smash in concert since their August 30th, 2009 headlining set at the Reading Festival, while the wait for OK Computer single live had been even longer, with the last “No Surprises” coming at a March 2009 gig in Santiago, Chile.

In addition to those two unearthed gems, the first of two Le Zenith shows also featured the live debut of the Moon Shaped Pool version of longtime fan favorite “True Love Waits.” That performance was the first time Radiohead had played “True Love Waits” as a standalone, non-abbreviated song – not as an introduction to “Everything In It’s Right Place,” for example – since 2006.

Although just the third date on Radiohead’s 2016 jaunt, the concert also marked the first time the band played at least one track from all nine of their studio albums over the course of a single concert.
