Slipknot's Shawn "Clown" Crahan makes his first major directorial debut in the new trailer for Officer Downe, a film adaptation based on the popular graphic novel of the same name.
Officer Downe is about a police officer who is shot while working and then resurrected by the government to continue fighting crime with enhanced powers. Sons of Anarchy star Kim Coates will star as the title character. In the trailer, Downe is seen fighting gun-touting nuns when he's murdered. Suddenly, he turns into a robotic immortal, immune to every punch and bullet lobbed at him by the criminals and villains he fights.
While Officer Downe is Crahan's first feature length film, the Slipknot co-founder has directed several music videos and and documentaries for the metal band. In 2012, he made an appearance as the Tamer in the horror musical The Devil's Carnival.
Officer Downe will be released in theaters and on demand on November 18th.
