Ahead of his Tidal X: TIP concert tonight in Atlanta, T.I. made some big business announcements. He revealed that he is becoming the 19th artist owner of Tidal, joining the likes of Jay Z, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and others. The service will also get the exclusive streaming rights for the video for his new single “Money Talk” for three days starting at midnight.

The song serves as the first single off his upcoming 10th album Dime Trap, which tonight he revealed will be distributed exclusively through Jay Z’s Roc Nation imprint and released through his own label Grand Hustle Records. Tip has promised Dime Trap will be a return to his Trap Muzik roots, referencing his much-lauded sophomore album that spawned hits like “Rubber Band Man” and “24’s.”
Aside from music, T.I. also has some acting projects coming up, including a starring role in the History Channel’s remake of Roots. With his new album on the way and some promising acting gigs on the horizon, could Tip reemerge in 2016 as a major player in hip-hop?
