The Game and Meek Mill beef continues to drag on despite police shootings of black men, protests resulting in a state of emergency being declared in Charlotte— and you know, actual attention-worthy news.

The latest turn comes courtesy of The Game’s manager, Wack 100, who told TMZ that despite Russell Simmons’ claims earlier today that the beef between Meek and Game was basically squashed and that there was a chance they’d work together again in the future, it’s not happening. Simmons said that he spoke to Game, who he’s worked with on several community issues, and Meek Mill (for an hour) and both rappers agreed to stop posting about each other on social media, and allowing the media to hype up the beef.

However, Wack 100 reportedly told TMZ that there was no peace treaty arranged by Simmons, and that although Simmons did call Game and speak briefly to him, Game basically told him to mind his own business. He said, Simmons “must have discussed this in yoga classes with Meek”– alluding to the end of the beef.

Just a couple of days ago, Game seemed to be backing down from the beef after the shooting of Terence Crutcher by police, saying he felt conflicted as a black man to be participating in conflict with another black man given the current climate. But that clearly didn’t last long.

Check out Russell Simmon’s earlier interview about the beef below.
