The Weeknd Enters The Boombox Battle Hall of Fame Again news

After four consecutive victories, The Weeknd is the latest artist to enter The Boombox Battle Hall of Fame.

The Canadian singer came in hard with a remixed version of “Rambo.” Taking on the Bryson Tiller track, the Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, keeps his singing delivery but speeds it up and proves he has a melodic yet versatile flow.

“I just signed a deal so big that it’s a secret / Victoria’s Secret Angels dancin’ ’round me for a reason / Spread your wings for me like I’m Freddie Mercury / But baby, you should call me king, you know that it’s my season,” Weeknd rap-sings.

His Battle journey started with Rihanna‘s “Kiss It Better” followed by Maxwell‘s “Lake By the Ocean” and Kelly Rowland‘s “Gimme Love.”

The 26-year-old singer solidified his Hall of Fame ticket when he beat Erykah Badu and her tune, “I Been Goin’ Thru It All.”

This isn’t the first time The Weeknd has been inducted into the Hall of Fame. He initially entered the Hall of Fame in March 2015 with his song, “Where You Belong.”

The Weeknd joins many rappers and singers in The Boombox Hall of Fame including Ciara, Post Malone, T-Pain, A$AP Rocky, K. Michelle and Tyler, the Creator.

Congratulations to The Weeknd again!
