Toni Braxton has reportedly been hit with a tax lien just two years after she filed for bankruptcy, reports The Jasmine Brand.

The lien is reportedly for $125,000, resulting from back state taxes. The lien was reportedly filed on Aug. 17, with the State of California set to begin seizing her assets if she doesn’t pay.

This isn’t the first time the Grammy winning singer has had tax and money issues. This news comes after a judge dismissed more than $10 million in debt two years ago, following her second bankruptcy case.  She said that her massive debt was acquired from medical bills, as she fought an ongoing battle with lupus and was thus forced to cancel several scheduled concerts.

Although this latest news is certainly a downer (maybe Birdman will lend her the money since he obviously likes giving her expensive gifts), things are looking up for the singer music-wise. She’s set to hit the road on her “The Hits” tour next month, where she’ll perform some of her chart-topping songs. Expect Braxton to pull out all of the gems that’ve made her one of the most recognizable voices in R&B, from “Seven Whole Days” to the mega-hit “Un-break My Heart” and “Breathe Again.”

As for this latest news, Braxton hasn’t commented on it as of yet.
