Tupac Shakur Music, Handwritten Notebooks Up for Auction news

Unearthed Tupac Shakur memorabilia, including unreleased music and notebooks, are up for auction.

Among the items up for purchase are three notebooks containing a bunch of handwritten notes and lyrics from ‘Pac as well as some CDs with previously unreleased tracks.

According to TMZ, a very lucky finder came across the items after answering a Craigslist ad for baseball cards. Apparently, the card seller’s father reportedly worked with 2Pac for many years before his murder in 1996 and had the items in his possession ever since.

Tupac’s notebooks are to be auctioned off by Moments in Time, the same auction house that sold a letter the late rapper wrote from prison for $225,000. They also verified that all of the writings in the notebooks match Shakur’s handwriting.

One noteworthy item is notes that ‘Pac had written about a music video idea for the song “Point the Finga,” which appears on his 1993 sophomore album, Strictly for my N.I.G.G.A.Z. According to the auction house this prized possession is expected to fetch $35,000.

Afeni Shakur, Tupac’s mother and executor of his estate, is trying to block the sale of the items. Whoever buys these treasured memorabilia will certainly have some conversation pieces to brag about.
