Since the song is inspired by the indie rap label No Limit, it only makes sense for Usher to get the Ice Cream Man to spit a few bars. Master P is “Bout it, Bout it” as he raps, “Shawty bad, I won’t try that / Say she want it, I’ma buy that / All this ice get them panties wet / Ughhh, it’ll ride that.”
Travi$, 2 Chainz, Ferg and Guwop all follow suit rapping luxury rhymes while paying homage to Master P.
Gucci closes the song out with a triumphant verse saluting his girlfriend for holding him down through his hard times. “I lucked up then I f—ed up and we broke up / Then we made up but I got locked back up / But it ain’t how you fall, it’s how you get right back up / I’m a one man army and my bitch my back up,” he raps.
Usher said that fans requested for the G-Mix and he delivered. Salute!
In the meantime, the 37-year-old singer is working hard on his eighth album titled Flawed. He will also portray Sugar Ray Leonard in the Roberto Duran biopic, Hands of Stone, which hits theaters on Aug. 26.
