Hours after Metallica debuted “Moth Into Flame” Monday, the heavy metal legends unleashed the new video for the ‘Hardwired… to Self-Destruct’ track.

Hours after Metallica debuted "Moth Into Flame" on The Howard Stern Show, the heavy metal legends released its accompanying music video on the band's website. The harrowing clip shows the band thrashing in a room eerily illuminated by swaying light bulbs. "Rise and fall/ Who cares at all" James Hetfield sings. "Blacked out, pop queen/ Amphetamine, the screams crashed in the silence."

"Most of the songs are simpler," drummer Lars Ulrich told Rolling Stone about the band's forthcoming LP Hardwired… to Self-Destruct. "We introduce a mood and we stick to it, rather than songs we've done where one riff happens and we go over here and then over there and becomes a journey through all these different soundscapes. The songs are more linear. … It cruises along a little bit more than the last record."

Hardwired, Metallica's two-disc record is due out November 18th. It is the band's first studio album in eight years since Death Magnetic in 2008, which is the longest gap between two studio albums for the band.
