Directors Dom & Nice returned to Oasis’s “D’You Know What I Mean?” video as part of the ‘Be Here Now’ reissue.

The directors of Oasis's "D'You Know What I Mean?" video have revisited the clip and updated it using previously unseen footage from the original shoot. The new, high-definition version of the visual is set to Noel Gallagher's "2016 Rethink" of the single, which will appear on a reissue of Be Here Now in October.

"This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring the quality of the original video up to today's high definition standards," directors Dom & Nic noted in a statement, "and also to look at the film again with fresh eyes and see what we could improve."

The "D'You Know What I Mean?" clip finds the band ripping through their track as military helicopters swoop around them. Dom & Nic dug up the original 35 mm film from 1997 to look for fresh material to incorporate in an updated visual. "This was the film equivalent of finding the band's long lost studio master tapes in pristine condition," they explain. "During the process of re-editing we discovered even more powerful performance moments from the band, more epic helicopter shots and a new pacing with greater drama and energy than before."

The Be Here Now reissue arrives October 7th on Big Brother Recordings. "As the years went by, I'd started to accept that the songs on Be Here Now were in fact insanely long … too long!" Noel Gallagher explained in July. "Someone (I can't remember who) had the idea that we re-visit, re-edit the entire album for posterity's sake. We got as far as the first track before we couldn't be arsed anymore and gave up … it does sound fucking mega though."
