Four years ago, in 2012, Stephen Marley won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album for his 2011 LP, Revelation Pt. I: The Root of Life. In the years since he’s been carefully crafting a follow-up, collaborating with Rick Ross, Waka Flocka Flame, Busta Rhymes, and others, on an album of classic reggae music with a modern feel. Today, on July 22, Marley releases the long-awaited record, named Revelation Pt II: The Fruit of Life.
For the Fruit of Life release, Complex is debuting a documentary on the making of the album, produced and directed by Stephanie Black. Today’s episode is the finale, and shows the making of “As Far As I Can See,” featuring Dead Prez.
