Watch This Police Officer Nail Beyonce's "Formation" Dance Moves at High School Pep Rally

Police officer Deuntay Diggs recently stopped by a pep rally at North Stafford High School in Virginia and surprised the school with a dance routine to Beyoncé's "Formation."

"The reason I'm doing this is to show kids that they can make it, that they can survive, that they can be successful," Diggs explained to Buzzfeed on why he wanted to do the routine. "I've been very fortunate, at this time when people look negatively upon law enforcement, that I'm able to change that narrative and open up some conversations and engage with people."

The choice made sense for Diggs since he is a huge Beyoncé fan. He is also reportedly the first openly gay deputy to serve in the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, where he has worked since 2008, according to WDAM. This isn't the first time he's joined the kids to elicit some inspiration. He previously danced at the high school football game. which one student shared to social media.

This isn't the first time a police officer has been spotted crushing dance moves to Beyoncé's song, either. If you remember, another police officer seemingly slayed his own routine. Clearly, Beyoncé just brings people together. Watch Diggs' routine above and catch another angle below.
